I bought a scale.
It was a good thing on Saturday when I stepped onto and realized I'd lost 12 pounds from January (except Dec/Jan have always been rather hedonistic -- cookies, parties, apps, drinks, sleeping, no exercise because of the cold).
Still, that felt real nice.
Until Sunday, when, over night, I gained a pound.
Now I'm in danger of being like dear old Bridget Jones...

I hope I'm not being too presumptuous. I get the impression you started this blog when you gained a little weight while your father was sick.
